  Ashley Hicks - emailFounder of PINC Ministries  Ashley Hicks has a vision to reach into the heart of thousands of teenage girls and a mission to change statistics through the heart-felt message of PINC. Since 1997, she has been working with teenage girls in various ways such as cheerleading, teaching in public schools, and Christian counseling. In the summer of 2003, Ashley felt God calling her to focus on a ministry that was specifically for girls and by September, PINC was created! Since then, Ashley has been speaking to thousands of girls about purity and self-esteem at PINC Events, various girls and women’s retreats, and public and private schools. Ashley believes her experiences with girls in this arena has been invaluable in understanding the pressures that girls face today and what tools they need to be successful, productive young women.Ashley is passionate about encouraging teenage girls to see their true value and worth in Christ through inspirational and creative teaching and music, with hopes of positively impacting the lives of girls across the country. Recently, Ashley released “THINK PINC!” a six week bible study series for teen girls based on the original message of PINC Ministries. Ashley hopes that this bible study will allow schools and churches to have PINC groups and Bible studies so that more girls will understand that only through Jesus Christ is our identity complete. Ashley has a Bachelor’s and a Masters Degree in Counseling. She has had the privilege of writing for numerous Lifeway youth resources and has appeared as a guest on The Joni Show and Friends & Neighbors. She and her husband Kory are happily married and live in Texas with their daughter Addyson Grace.   Sarah GregoireSarah is a jewel of a young woman. Her joy is genuine and contagious and she epitomizes what it means to be a confident young lady with grace and class. Sarah has served with PINC Ministries since 2007 and is a powerful and inspiring role model for other girls. She is passionate about sharing the PINC message and any opportunity for God to use her to make a difference in other people’s lives. Sarah is a student at Southeastern Louisiana University where she is a part of the student leadership program there. She is also a gifted dancer, having danced for most of her life and now in college. She truly loves people and spending time with her family, as well as exercising, socializing, and shopping. *Sarah is the speaker for the ‘Pretty in PINC’ event.  Shannon Varis Shannon Varis is a licensed minister and professional photographer who has a passion to see young women connected to the incredible story that God desires to write through their lives. Young women are asking hard questions, about love, their purposes and pain. Shannon has a desire to see girls encounter the love of God and through her story to be inspired to live an adventurous life in God.Shannon has been a special speaker at conferences, workshops, youth groups and in several countries internationally and has been involved with PINC Ministries since 2004. |
